The Convert dashboard

The front page of Admin → Convert - volume and fees, the house inventory and its floors, exposure per currency and where that figure comes from, hedge and payout health, and every alert the page can raise with what to do about it.

Admin → Convert (/admin/convert) is the page to open first every day. It is read-only, needs view.convert, and stays open while quoting is paused or the addon is in drain mode, because that is exactly when you need to see it.

The console's own navigation groups the rest by the question you open it with:

Group Pages The question
Setup Assets, Inventory What may users convert, and is the house funded to pay for it?
Activity Orders, Sends What did users do, and what is being paid out on their behalf?
Risk Hedges, Movements, Profit & Loss What position is the house carrying, and what has it earned?
Settings Settings Pricing, guards, limits, Send, hedging and treasury.

The figures row

Card What it counts Where from
Volume, 24h (and 7 days beneath) USD value of converts convert_order.usdValue, statuses COMPLETED, PENDING_SEND and SENT only; a reversed or failed convert is not volume
Converts, 24h the number of those orders the same rows
Fees, 24h (and since launch beneath) the fee in USD each order's fee valued at the price it was quoted at: usdValue × feeAmount / amountIn
Spread P&L, 24h (and since launch beneath) realised spread minus the house's costs, the figure a sweep moves the Profit & loss engine, in whole UTC days; shown as a warning when negative

The fee in USD is an estimate at quote-time prices. What actually landed is the admin_profit rows of type CONVERT: each fee in the currency it was paid in and, once the profit sweep runs, each finished day's swept spread profit in USDT (described Instant Convert P&L sweep <day>: realised Convert spread). Those rows, under Finance → Revenue Analytics (/admin/finance/profit), are what your accounts should be reconciled against; leave the sweep rows out when you reconcile fees alone.

The fee figures count the same orders as volume, so a reversed convert's fee is not in them. The Super Admin keeps that fee and the house pays the refund, so Profit & loss still counts it under Convert fees and can show the larger total.

House inventory

One row per currency and wallet type the house holds, with its balance, floor, target and what is available above the floor, and a state badge:

State Meaning
Below floor The balance is at or below the floor. Converts into this currency are refused now. A currency with no floor and no target, and nothing held, counts as below floor too: nothing can be paid from it.
Below target Above the floor but under the target. Converts still run; hedging and movements work towards the target.
Healthy Above the floor, and at or above the target when one is set.
Not configured Neither a floor nor a target is set, but the house holds some.

Manage inventory opens Inventory.

Exposure

One row per currency: the house's Spot and Ecosystem units, the target, the Exposure (how far the house is above or below the target, counting what is still in flight in hedges and movements, except in the units-only fallback below), and that figure in USD where a book could price it. The page does not show the in-flight amounts themselves; the hedge part is the In flight line under House holds on the Hedges page's Exposure tab. A currency whose exposure cannot be priced shows no USD value rather than $0, because not priced must never read as flat.

The figure comes from the hedge cycle's last snapshot while that snapshot is recent (four hedge intervals, at least one minute). Past that, the page measures exposure there and then. If neither can be read, it shows the stale snapshot with its time, or units only, and raises an alert saying so. See Hedging for how exposure is computed.

Hedging and payouts

  • Hedge mode (Off, Monitor only or Automatic), with a Paused badge beside it while hedging is paused.
  • Open hedges and hedges in review.
  • Payouts pending: Sends being paid or confirmed right now (PLANNED, SENDING, SENT). These are the jobs' own work, not yours.
  • Sends awaiting approval: held by the Spot approval rule until someone approves them. The house holds the price while they wait.
  • Payouts in review: Sends only a person can settle.

Alerts

The page lists these in its Needs attention card, most severe first: an error alert carries an octagon icon and a warning a triangle, and the count beside the card's title turns red when any is an error. The card words each one more briefly than the table below (which gives the sentence the API and the logs carry) and gives it a button to the page that fixes it: Open settings, Fund X, Review hedges, Review Sends, Review movements, Open the approval queue, Open hedges or Open P&L. While any hedge is in review, the frozen currencies are named on that review row instead of on rows of their own. An alert the card does not recognise is shown as the API wrote it, with no button. With nothing to show, the card reads Nothing needs attention.

Alert Level What you do
Quoting is paused: users cannot get new quotes. warning Nothing, if you paused it. Unpause under Settings → General, or System → Settings.
Drain mode is on: new converts are closed while exposure returns to flat. warning Wait for exposure to reach flat, then disable or set Mode back to Live.
House X (SPOT) is at or below its floor: converts into X are closed until it is funded. warning Fund the house or lower the floor.
N hedge orders need review. error Open Hedges → Needs review and resolve each one, then Unfreeze each frozen currency on the Hedges page: resolving a hedge does not lift its currency's freeze.
N Sends need review. error Open Sends → Needs review. The user's value is held until you do.
N house movements need review. error Open Movements → Needs review and decide each one. Its coins stay where they are, and no other movement of that currency starts, until you do. Listed from 6.0.1.
N Sends are waiting for approval. warning Open the approval queue.
Hedging X is frozen: … error Resolve its hedges in review, then Unfreeze it on the Hedges page.
Hedging X is paused until … warning Read why in the log. It lifts on its own at the time shown.
Converts in X are closed: … warning A hedge filled beyond the slippage limit, or pool-backing reports unacknowledged drift on X. For drift, acknowledge it under Finance → Transaction Management → Pool Backing first: Reopen quoting is refused while the drift is unacknowledged. Then Reopen quoting on the Hedges page once you have checked.
The house's exposure could not be measured … warning The exchange or the reference books could not be read. Check the provider; the page falls back to the last snapshot or to units.
The spread P&L could not be read (…). warning The Spread P&L card shows a dash instead of a figure. Open P&L to see whether the Profit & Loss page can read it.

Until your core carries the labels for the movement row (they ship with the next core release), the row is shown in English as the API wrote it, and its button reads Needs review.

Admins who can act on Sends (holders of view.convert.send or manage.convert.send in the Admin and Super Admin roles, and every Super Admin) also receive an in-app notification, once per Send and state, when a payout reverts, when a Send goes to review, and when one has waited for approval for more than ten minutes.
