Mobile App v5.4.1
Release Date: October 31, 2026 Tags: TRADING, SPOT ORDERS, ORDER FORM
Overview
Limit and Market are two buttons on the spot trade form, and a market order shows the price it works from. The order type used to be a closed drop-down reading "Limit": a tap to open a sheet and a second tap to choose, so a trader could not see that Market existed, and choosing it made the price row vanish and the whole form jump up by a field. Both choices are on screen now, one tap switches, and a market order keeps its price row, labelled with the last price and the words Fills now at the best available price.
The figure under the limit price no longer reads "≈ <price × 20> USD", which was wrong on every pair. It shows the last traded price, and a tap puts it in the price field.
On a server whose exchange provider is XT, spot market buys and resting limit orders need Core v6.8.7: before it, a market buy was refused by the server and a limit order was not listed under Open orders. That is fixed on the server, not in the app.
Update Instructions
A new release arrives as a new download, not as an update to your copy. It has no version-control history to merge with, and its assets/config/app_config.json is a copy of the example that points at a placeholder address — so do not copy it over your tree, and do not build it as it comes.
-
Unpack the new release into a fresh folder, next to your current one.
-
Carry your own files into it:
assets/config/app_config.jsonassets/icons/app_icon.pngandroid/key.properties— and check that the keystore path in it still points at your upload keystoreandroid/app/google-services.json, if you use pushios/Runner/GoogleService-Info.plist, if you use push
-
Re-apply any changes you made to the app's own code by hand.
-
Run, from the new folder:
flutter pub get dart run tool/apply_app_config.dart dart run tool/apply_app_config.dart --icons -
On iOS, in Xcode: add the Push Notifications capability again if you use push, and any Google sign-in entries you had added to
ios/Runner/Info.plist— the project ships without either. Choose your signing team there too, unless you setiosTeamId. -
Set the build number in
pubspec.yamlhigher than the last one you uploaded. This release carries our ownversion:line, and both stores refuse a build number they have already received. -
Run the preflight, then build and upload as usual. Add
--android-onlyif you do not publish on the App Store:dart run tool/release_preflight.dart --explain
This release changes nothing on your server. See Build for Android and Build for iOS for the build and upload steps.
Changed
The order type on the spot trade form
- Changed the order type from a drop-down to two buttons, Limit and Market, always visible. The selected one is announced as selected to screen readers. Only the types the app can place are offered; there is still no Stop button, because the server refuses a stop order placed here.
- Changed a market order's price row. It stays where the limit price was, reads Market price with the last price beside it, cannot be edited, and says the order fills now at the best available price. The form no longer changes height when you switch.
- Changed the label above the total to Total, and to Estimated total on a market order, which is worked out at the last price and filled at whatever the book gives. It read Amount, beside a box labelled Quantity.
- Changed the limit price's label from Limit to Limit price.
Fixed
A placeholder conversion under the limit price
- Fixed the line under the limit price, which printed "≈ <price × 20> USD" on every pair, and on a pair not quoted in dollars in the wrong currency as well. It now reads Last
, and tapping it uses that price.
