Overview

Preview and Download on Strategy presets work again. Every Preview and Download, on the customer's Strategy presets page and in the admin Strategy Studio alike, answered buyLevels must be a non-empty array, for market-making (PMM) presets as well as cross-exchange (XEMM) ones. A tester reported it on October 9 and again on October 17 after an update. The preset itself was fine: it was stored, listed and run as before, and only the generated file could not be produced.

No new requirement: Core v6.7.8, as before.

No schema change, no seeder, no .env change. Nothing is regenerated for you: a preset is rendered when it is previewed or downloaded.

Fixed

Preview and Download refused every preset

Both routes read the stored preset and handed it to the generator as a copy made by spreading the database row. A row keeps its fields as accessors on the model, and a spread copies only a row's own properties, so the generator received the row's internals and none of the preset's family, pair, name or settings. With no family it took the cross-exchange branch, found no buy levels and refused with the sentence the customer saw. The copy came in with an August change that made a downloaded file's header name the file it belongs to. The generator's own tests all passed it a plain object, so none could see it.

• Fixed the customer's route and the admin Strategy Studio's route. Each now copies the row with its fields read, which also parses a settings value that MariaDB hands back as a JSON string.
• Instances, which read the preset's family directly, and the Rust bot host, which hands the generator a typed preset, were never affected.
