Overview

The gas the platform pays could be credited to a customer. The TRON master wallet sends TRX to a customer's address to pay the network fee of a TRC-20 withdrawal, and that TRX arrived at a watched deposit address like any other transfer. Incoming TRX sent by the master wallet is no longer credited as a deposit — which also means TRX you send from it by hand is no longer credited automatically. See Upgrade Notes.

TRC-20 withdrawals also take a signing lock shared by the backend and cron processes, so two senders can no longer top up or spend from the same address at once.

Requires Ecosystem v6.5.6 (and so Core v6.8.2), released with it: the signing lock and the master-wallet lookup are in Ecosystem.

Upgrade Notes

TRX you send from the master wallet by hand

• TRX sent from the TRON master wallet to a customer's deposit address is no longer credited automatically; credit that customer by hand.
• If the master wallet cannot be looked up when a transfer arrives, the transfer is retried on the next poll rather than credited.

What counts as a deposit

• Changed TRON deposit detection to skip TRX sent by the platform's own TRON master wallet, so the gas it pays for TRC-20 withdrawals can never be credited to a customer.

TRC-20 withdrawals take a signing lock

• Changed TRC-20 withdrawals to hold a lock shared by the backend and cron processes on the signing address and on the master wallet, from before the fee top-up until the transfer is done. A withdrawal that cannot get the lock within 30 seconds, or while Redis is unavailable, returns to pending with nothing signed and is retried.
