Overview

The faster admin pool pages that Staking v6.2.8 described are in this release. The 6.2.8 package carried the previous version of their server code, so on an install updated to 6.2.8 the admin pool pages still read every position, earning, performance record and duration in one combined query. On a busy pool that took up to two minutes and held up every other request while it ran.

Requires Core v6.8.3 or later, for the settlement fix in 6.2.8.

From Core 6.8.4, Update All in the admin panel applies it without the terminal. No schema change, no seeder, no .env change.

Fixed

Admin pool pages stalled the backend

• Fixed the admin pool list, a pool's page, the pool editor, the earnings page and saving a pool reading each pool's positions, admin earnings, performance records and durations in one combined query. Those lists multiplied against each other: a pool with 70 positions, 1,311 earnings and 9 durations asked the database for 825,930 rows to show 1,390. Each list is now read on its own, and the pages show the same data.
